Seven other companies gave notice that they will shed a total of 639 Illinois jobs, according to the state’s April Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, or WARN report.
The highest reported layoffs came from Maryville Behavioral Health Hospital, which is set to close, leaving 143 workers without jobs.
Illinois Bell is closing a location in suburban Hoffman Estates, which will cut 103 jobs.
