Illinois continued to lose population last year, with people leaving 75% of the communities in the state. But what about your town? Did it lose or gain, and by how much?
Illinois lost residents in 75% of its communities last year with Chicago leading the losses at 8,208, new census data shows.
The next-worst were Cicero, losing 734, and Arlington Heights, losing 540.
But some communities gained: Plainfield added 1,167 residents and Oswego gained 1,157.
