Gerrin Alexander | Policy Intern


Gerrin Treneé Alexander is a Policy Intern at the Chicago Policy Center with the Illinois Policy Institute. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago, holding degrees in political science and public policy studies.

Gerrin serves as a member of the founding editorial board of The Chicago Thinker, UChicago’s first independent and student-run newspaper for conservative and libertarian voices on campus. She has been featured in Newsweek, Campus Reform, the First Amendment Museum, Fox & Friends, and, of course, The Chicago Thinker. Gerrin was also a member of the Social Media Governance Task Force for Georgetown Law’s Center of National Security report, Social Media: The Canary in the Coal Mine.

Recently, she took her studies abroad and graduated with a master’s degree in international relations at the International University of Japan.
