Eddie Damstra is a marketing intern at the Illinois Policy Institute where he writes and researches on issues pertaining to the Illinois economy.

Hailing from the southwest suburbs of Chicago, he is a rising senior at the University of Notre Dame where he is majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Constitutional Studies. At Notre Dame, Eddie is an opinion columnist for the university newspaper The Observer.
