by Amanda Griffin-Johnson The
Institute's policy report "Wrong way, Illinois" details how Illinois'
unemployment rate increased more than any other state in 2011. In fact, Illinois
was one of only four states to see their unemployment rates rise from January 2011 to December 2011.
With the interactive dashboard below, you can explore the numbers
behind the policy report. To use the dashboard, roll over different
states to see more information. Clicking on one or more states in one
section will highlight those data points in the other sections. The
source of the data is the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. You can also check out our previous dashboard on job growth.
